2 being retrieved at dig site collapse in Las Piñas City

Authorities are searching for two people after a dig site collapse in Pamplona II, Las Piñas City on Sunday evening.

According to an initial report by GMA News' Bam Alegre, the incident occurred at a road works in connection with a water supply project.

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine National Police, and the city's Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) are at the scene.

According to the officials' description, seven people were at the site: five people who have been rescued, including one who was wounded; and two who are described as "for retrieval."
