WALANG PASOK: Schools dismiss classes, shift online amid EDSA rally 

Some schools near the EDSA People Power Monument at White Plains Avenue, Quezon City, have announced early dismissal of students and a shift to online classes amid the massive protest in the area, which is causing heavy traffic on the thoroughfare.

La Salle Greenhills

The La Salle Greenhills in San Juan City dismissed its students early amid the traffic congestion near the area. Afternoon classes for pre-school level were also suspended.

Immaculate Conception Academy

Also located in San Juan City, the Immaculate Conception Academy announced that tardiness and absences for today will be marked as excused due to the situation.

Meanwhile, the high school department will shift to online classes from July 1 to July 2.

New Era University

The Iglesia Ni Cristo-run New Era University, although located far from the site of the rally participated in mostly by members of the religious group, also suspended classes at 12 noon.
