QC Water Level update: La Mesa Dam under Alert Level 3

The La Mesa Dam water level is placed under Alert Level 3 following the incessant rains on Monday, the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported.

As of 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the water level status of rivers, dams are as follows:

La Mesa Dam

  • 79.71 m
  • Alert Level 3

Marikina River

  • 14.98 m
  • No Alert Level

Quirino (Tullahan River)

  • 38.44 m
  • No Alert Level

San Juan River

  • 11.97 m
  • No Alert Level

The excess water from La Mesa Dam is expected to affect low-lying areas along the Tullahan River. These include:

  • Fairview
  • Forest Hills Subdivision
  • Quirino Highway
  • San Bartolome
