Tensions flared between protesters and the police on Thursday morning in front of a hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, where President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos went to attend an event.
In a video from Super Radyo dzBB, police tried to hold off rallyists who brought banners and placards to the area.
Marcos was at a hotel in Taguig to attend the Luzon Economic Corridor Investment Forum, co-hosted by the governments of the Philippines, the United States, and Japan.
Discussions at the forum included transportation and logistics, energy security and industrial power, digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing, and regulatory, financing, and investment frameworks. —Giselle Ombay/AOL, GMA News
