To my favorite person: First Lady Liza greets Bongbong on 69th birthday
First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos expressed her appreciation for her husband, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., whom she called her “favorite person” in a greeting for his 69th birthday.
“Happy birthday to my favorite person. Through all the roles you carry and all the responsibilities that come with them, I’m happiest simply knowing you as my husband, my partner and the father of our boys,” the First Lady said in a Facebook post on Sunday.
She also expressed her admiration for her husband’s “dedication to work and to country,” which the First Lady said she witnesses every day.
“We’ve shared so many chapters together — the serious ones, the crazy ones, the unforgettable ones, and thankfully, plenty that still make us laugh. Happy birthday, Bong. I love you to the moon and back,” the First Lady added.
The President spent his birthday in New Delhi, India, where he was invited to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit as an outreach participant—a non-member nation invited to join summit discussions—and in his capacity as the 2026 ASEAN Chair. —Lyjah Tiffany Bonzo/RF, GMA News
