PRC releases licensure exam results for electrical engineers, master electricians

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday released the results of licensure examinations for professional electrical engineers, registered electrical engineers, and master electricians.

According to the PRC, 1,676 test takers out of 3,399 passed the licensure examination for registered electrical engineers, given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in 17 testing centers all over the Philippines this month.

Sharing the top spot are Dan Joel Monte De Leon of the Palompon Institute of Technology-Palompon and Charles Anthony Saceda Santillan of the Cebu Institute of Technology-University, who both scored 94.25%.

The top performing school with 30 or more test takers is the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, with all 51 of its test takers passing.

In addition, 715 test takers out of 961 passed the licensure examination for registered master electricians, also given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in 17 testing centers all over the Philippines this September.

Ramon Joshua Silva Carpio achieved the top score of 90.00%.

The top performing school with 20 or more test takers is the Philippine College of Science and Technology-Calasiao, with 20 of its 22 test takers passing. For a 90.91% passing rate.

Moreover, 20 test takers passed the oral examination/technical evaluation for professional electrical engineers, given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Cagayan de Oro earlier this month.
