Marcos laughs off Sara Duterte claim that admin trying to stop 2028 polls

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. just laughed on Monday when asked about claims by Vice President Sara Duterte that the administration is trying to stop the 2028 election

Marcos was asked for his reaction to Duterte’s claim that the Marcos administration is bent on bringing her down.

The Vice President made the accusation while denying allegations that she knew and received money from Rodolfo Gracioso Jr., a former policeman who served as a security officer for then-House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco.

The Vice President dismissed the claims as another media stunt and a desperate move by the administration to bring her down and breathe life into the “faltering impeachment case” against her.

“The desperation of the administration to bring me down, push for Charter change, prevent the 2028 elections, and cling to power is becoming increasingly diabolical,” Duterte said.

Marcos attended the Recognition of Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) Participating Schools and Education Partners at the President Corazon 'Cory' C. Aquino National High School in Pasay City. —AOL, GMA News
