“With 77 years of diplomatic relations, the Philippines and Türkiye continue to explore opportunities to expand economic cooperation and strengthen people-to-people ties,” the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) said on Facebook.

In 2025, the PCO noted that bilateral trade between the Philippines and Türkiye reached USD 365.01 million, while tourist arrivals from Türkiye rose to 12,559.

Marking another milestone with the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Palace stated that accepting the credentials of the new Egyptian envoy signals a renewed commitment to strengthening ties and pursuing new avenues of bilateral cooperation.
