Man vomits blood, drops dead in Rizal Park

MANILA, Philippines – A 45-year-old man dropped dead while seating near a fountain at the Rizal Park in Ermita, Manila, early Saturday morning. Police identified the victim as Edwin del Rosario, a resident of Dagupan Extension, Tondo, Manila. According to witnesses, they saw the victim drinking something. Shortly after, at about 12:15 a.m., he suddenly vomited blood. Witnesses reported the incident to the park warden, who took the man to the Ospital ng Maynila. The man died at the hospital, according to Detective Rommel del Rosario, case investigator of the Manila Police District (MPD) Homicide Section.
