MANILA, Philippines – In the wake of continuous rains brought by typhoon “Marce," the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has deployed declogging units to address prolonged flooding in parts of the metropolis. GMA News’ Steve Daylisan reported over QTV’s Balitanghali that trash-clogged drainages have contributed to the prolonged flooding, snarling traffic in several parts of Metro Manila. The MMDA added that even for their declogging operations, the public has to observe discipline in terms of their garbage disposal to prevent prolonged flooding in their areas. - Sophia Dedace, GMANews.TV
