MANILA, Philippines - Doña Mary Ejercito, the late mother of pardoned former President Joseph Estrada who died at age 103 Tuesday, will be buried at the Ejercito family mausoleum on Saturday morning. The former President's media liaison Ferdinand Ramos said Doña Mary will be brought out of the St. John the Baptist Church in San Juan City at 9 a.m. Saturday. "May mausoleum ang pamilyang Ejercito kung saan nakalibing si (Don) Emilio Sr. at mga yumaong kapatid niya (The Ejercitos have a mausoleum inside the San Juan Public Cemetery where the patriarch Emilio Sr. is buried, along with other deceased members of the clan)," Ramos said in an interview on dzBB radio. He said initial burial plans include a funeral march from the church to the cemetery, which will take one-and-a-half to two kilometers. Ramos also reiterated the Estrada family's request to donors to send donations instead of flowers to the Erap Para sa Mahirap Foundation. Donations can also be sent to Doña Mary's favorite charities, including the Damas Filipinas orphanage. - GMANews.TV
