Manila cops ready to secure bar exams, Alay Lakad

More than 100 traffic policemen will be deployed on Sunday to secure the bar examinations at De La Salle University and the annual Alay Lakad along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. “We’re ready to secure the students who will take the bar exams in the next four weeks. Our traffic policemen and our detectives are on the job," Senior Superintendent Danilo Abarzosa, acting chie of the Manila Police District (MPD) said in an interview aired over radio station dzBB. Abarsoza said the policemen will be deployed as early as 2 a.m. He advised motorists to take alternate routes as the following areas will be closed to traffic:

• The southbound portion of Roxas Boulevard from the corner Kalaw to Katigbak Streets, to make way for the Alay Lakad
• The portion of Taft Avenue between Quirino Avenue and P. Ocampo Streets, for the bar examinations at the De La Salle University. - GMANews.TV
