Truck driver killed in QC road accident - report

MANILA, Philippines - A truck driver was killed after figuring in a collision with a van in Fairview in Quezon City before dawn Friday. Radio dzBB reported that the incident occurred along Regalado Avenue in Fairview, when the van suddenly stopped to avoid hitting a pothole. Police initially identified the fatality as Marcelino Cayaban, who was pinned in his six-wheeler truck after it hit the van driven by Jomar Dahar. Dahar, who was taken into custody after the accident, said he was forced to make a full stop to avoid hitting a pothole. - GMANews.TV
