Fire hits Tondo residential area

MANILA, Philippines — Fire of undetermined origin razed a row of houses in a residential area in Manila's Tondo district shortly before noon Saturday. Radio dzBB's Lito Laparan cited sketchy initial reports indicating the fire at the corner of Lakandula and Kagitingan Streets had reached the fourth alarm. No one was reported injured in the fire, which started at 11:50 a.m. Firefighters declared the fire out at 12:10 p.m. Arson investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, as well as how much in damage to property the fire caused. - GMANews.TV
