One killed, 3 hurt in construction site accident

MANILA, Philippines — At least one worker was reported dead and three others injured when a wall collapsed on them at a construction site in Pasay City early Saturday. But radio dzBB's Lito Laparan reported the management of the construction site refused to allow media and Red Cross crews inside, saying it was private property. The incident occurred at about 8 a.m. near the Cuneta Elementary School. Amir Hassan, officer-in-charge of village watchmen at Barangay 79, said he heard a loud crashing sound and saw the wall crash down on four workers.
