2 killed, 2 critical in Caloocan City shooting

MANILA, Philippines – A man and a woman were killed, while two of their companions seriously wounded in crossfire as shooting erupted between two gangs in Caloocan City Sunday night. Radio dzBB's Louie Garcia reported the four victims were playing cards along Talilong Street in Maypajo when the warring gangs passed by them. Killed were Crisente Serna Jr., 17, and Laura Ilagan, 49, who suffered gunshot wounds in several parts of the body. In critical condition at the Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Medical Center were Genesis Ann Elcano, 25, and Dindo Edusma, 25. Now in police custody is one Manuel Mendoza, 49, who was wounded in the arm and was suspected to have taken part in the gang war. - GMANews.TV
