SEPARATE LIVES. Katrina Halili and Dr. Hayden Kho are escorted to separate rooms in the Senate before the probe on the so-called 'Hayden-cam sex scandal' begins.
MANILA, Philippines - While former secret lovers sexy actress Katrina Halili and Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. arrived at the Senate for the probe on the so-called "Hayden cam" video sex scandal on Thursday afternoon, the two are unlikely to meet face-to-face. Senator Ma. Ana Consuelo 'Jamby' Madrigal, chairman of the Senate committee on youth, women, and family relations, said Halili's statements before the Senate would be aired publicly while that of Kho would be made through a separate closed-door executive session. Madrigal's panel and the Senate committee on public information and mass media, chaired by Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano will conduct the investigation. Senator Madrigal granted Kho's request for privacy into the inquiry in order to avoid further humiliating his 'victims', most of whom were allegedly unaware that their sexual acts were caught on tape. Halili who arrived at around 1:20 p.m. was accompanied by counsels Marlito Tan and Raymund Palad to the Padilla room. Kho meanwhile, arrived 20 minutes later with his mom and lawyers Irene Besido and Lorna Capunan. The Senate provided two rooms for the hearing, which is now full of people - resource persons and observers chattering about the video sex scandal. The Senate investigation stemmed from the privilege speech of Senator Ramon Revilla Jr entitled "A Doctor’s Perversity" where he scored Kho for allegedly recording her sexual activities with her girlfriends without their consent and posting the videos on the Internet. This is the first time Halili and Kho would face each other since their infamous sex video hit the Internet and spread to DVD pirates in Quiapo, Manila. - Joseph Holandes Ubalde, GMANews.TV
