514 pass Medical Technologist exams
A total of 514 out of the 873 had passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examinations given last March 2 and 3 in the cities of Baguio, Manila and Cebu, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday. Zane Kevin Ko Gervacio of the University of Sto. Tomas topped the list with 88.30 percent, followed by Krizza-Almond Sarmiento Aguilar of Centro Escolar University-Manila with 87.70 percent and Merla Ilagan Bitonia of Lyceum of Batangas with 87.60 percent. The rest of the top 10 are: 4. Grethel Severino Navarro of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (87.40 percent); 5. Michael Coloma Bangloy of University of Baguio (86.80 percent); 6. Mark Laurence Seminiano Ventura of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (86.70 percent); 7. Glena Hernandez Biteño of Saint Louis University (86.30 percent); 8. Niño Aluague de Jesus of Trinity University of Asia (86.10 percent); 9. Warith-Thia Muhajil Elang of Universidad de Zamboanga (85.80 percent); and 10. Blesil Ceniza Achas of Velez College (85.50 percent) SEE COMPLETE LIST OF PASSERS HERE. The PRC said the results were released in three working days from the last day of examination. Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, March 15, 2010 but not later than March 26, 2010. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 1 p.m at the Fiesta Pavillon of the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
