Gibo Teodoro casts vote at precinct in Mayantoc, Tarlac
Administration presidential candidate Gilberto Teodoro Jr. arrived Monday at his voting precinct in Mayantoc, Tarlac, to a warm welcome of his supporters, calling him "Mr. President." GMA Networks' report said Teodoro arrived via private chopper that landed near the polling precinct where he was to vote minutes later. According to the report, Teodoro, a cousin of Liberal Party standard bearer Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III, was born in Paniqui, Tarlac, but he is registered in Mayantoc town. It took Teodoro five minutes to vote, but he added that the next national elections should not be held simultaneous with local polls, so there would be less names on the ballot. "Maliit. Mahirap makita ang bilog. (The circles are small and hard to see)," added the Lakas-Kampi-CMD standard bearer, who was adjusting his reading glasses and squinting his eyes while casting his vote. He voted at Precinct 0025-A at the Carabaoan Caocaoayan Elementary Schoool in Mayantoc town. He arrived at his rest house in Mayantoc on board a chopper with wife Tarlac first district Rep. Monica Teodoro and son Jaime. He then rode a car to the precinct. In an interview with reporters after voting, Teodoro said he would monitor the elections and urged everyone to remain vigilant. He added he ran a good campaign and is prepared to win or lose. â with Sophia Dedace/LBG/RSJ, GMANews.TV
