Fetus found in Caloocan; cops suspect mother is a student

An eight-month-old fetus was discovered in a vacant lot inside a subdivision in Caloocan City early Friday, even as authorities suspect a student to be its mother. Radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported that authorities are now looking for the mother who dumped the fetus in the vacant lot along Jaguar Street in Brixtonville Subdivision. The fetus was found inside a pail at the lot by a scavenger who removed the cover from the pail at about 6 a.m. Friday. A separate report on dzXL radio said police suspect the mother is a student, after noticing the cloth used to wrap the fetus was similar to a school uniform. — LBG, GMANews.TV
