PBL: Sista Super Sealers beat Cebuana Llhuillier, 81-71

Sista Super Sealers came back strong down the stretch to seal an 81-71 victory over Cebuana Lhuillier Saturday at the San Juan Gym. Khiel Misa knocked down 10 of his 13 points in the last quarter while rookie Kelvin Gregorio had six points to lead the Super Sealers in the pivotal period that saw them wipe out the 62-54 third quarter Cebuana lead. Helping Sista in the defensive department was Nur Alfad, who slowed Cebuana center Kenneth Bono in the last quarter, letting the Sealers cruise to their second win and tie Hapee-PCU for the early lead. Gregorio, a pick out of University of the East, posted a PBL career high of 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Super Sealers. Conrad Bauzon also posted 19 points to help Sista give coach Luigi Trillo's troops its first defeat in two games. Bono finished with 17 points, eight of which he posted in the third quarter, during which Cebuana had a 26-8 run that put the team ahead at 52-37. But Cebuana was limited to only eight points in the last quarter with Macky Escalona scoring six points. Doug Kramer, another Cebuana star, finished with 10 points, but like Bono was scoreless in the last period. - GMANews.TV
