New witness tags 3 Revilla siblings in Ramgen slay

A new witness has accused three siblings of slain actor Ramgen "Ram" Revilla of masterminding the plan to kill their brother.

 

"Bale ang magpapapatay daw yung mga kapatid ni Ram Revilla, nabanggit niya po yung mga pangalan na RJ, Gail, at Mara tsaka kasama din po yung asawa ni Gail [who] is Hero," witness Sheridan "Dondon" Embat told GMA News reporter Saleema Refran.

 

Embat was reportedly referring to the statement of Ryan Pastera (alias Bryan), who has repeatedly been referred to as the middleman in the kill plot, that Ram's siblings Ramon Joseph "RJ" Bautista, 18, Ramona "Mara" Bautista, 22, and Maria Ragelyn Gail Bautista, 20, were behind the plot.

 

RJ and Ramona have been implicated in the muder and frustrated murder case. Ramona, however, has fled the country. Pastera is also still at-large. RJ is under police custody.

 

Genelyn Magsaysay, mother of the siblings, has repeatedly denied that her chidlren were involved in the killing of their 23-year-old brother and the wounding of Ramgen's girlfriend, Janelle Manahan. Gail has also denied involvement in the crime.

 

In the television interview, Embat explained that he first stumbled upon the plot to kill Ram when his fraternity brother Pastera asked him during his birthday party if he knew any hitmen for hire.

 

"Nagkakasayahan po kami noon. Akala ko biru-biro lang. Lumapit sa akin, sabi may kakilala daw ba akong pumapatay ng tao. Tinanong ko kung kaaway ba niya. Sabi niya, may nagpapautos daw sa kanya," Embat recalled his conversation then with Pastera.

 

Claiming he was drunk at the time, Embat said he gave Pastera the contact number of his friend Kiko (Roy Francis Tolisora). Days later, he said he was surprised that the two have in fact been meeting and have closed their deal.

 

He likewise said he was surprised when he found out who their target was and who was ordering the kill.

 

"Si Ramgen pala, Ramgen Revilla na half-brother daw ni Sen Bong Revilla at anak daw ni Revilla Sr. Tapos yun nga po, handa daw sila (yung magkakapatid) maglabas ng P800,000 up to P1 million," he said.

 

"Sila (magkakapatid) po yung mga nagtitip o nagsasabi kapag kung ano po yung ginagawa ni Ram. Hindi lang po isang beses, maraming beses po nila pinagtangkaan yung buhay ni Ramgen," he added.

 

Tolisora is already in police custody and has been charged for the crime together with another suspect Michael Altea.

 

Embat stressed that he did not partake in the plot to kill Ramgen. He said he was only being informed by Ryan about their plans but that he didn't want to participate.

 

"Hindi na po ako madalas nagrereply noon kasi ayoko pong masangkot diyan.  Kaya po ako lumabas para linisin yung pangalan ko. Alam ko naman po na wala talaga akong kinalaman dito," he said.

 

He likewise called on Pastera to come out of hiding and disclose what he knows.

 

"Alam mo magkakaibigan tayo, lumabas ka at sabihin mo yung totoo. At ikaw yung nakakaalam ng totoo kung sino ang nasa likod niyan, sana lumabas ka na lang," he said. — with Kimberly Jane Tan/RSJ, GMA News
