Chinese vendor bites off rival's ear at Divisoria mall
A Chinese woman lost part of her left ear after a colleague bit it off in a fit of rage inside a mall in Manila's Divisoria business district late Monday. Radio dzBB reported Tuesday morning that Shi King Kong, 23, lodged a complaint against Kai Li Ming for the incident before the Manila Police District (MPD). Shi said the incident took place at their stall at the Divisoria Mall along Santa Elena Street in Manila's Binondo district. Investigation showed that Kai approached Shi and, for no apparent reason, started to kick and punch her, and pull her hair. Shi said she tried to ward off Kai but Kai suddenly sank her teeth into her left ear, biting off the upper part of the ear, then stomped on it. After cooler heads intervened, Shi said she rushed the bitten-off ear to the Metropolitan Hospital in a bid to have doctors stitch it back, but doctors failed to do so. Shi said she has placed the bitten-off part of her ear in a bottle as "remembrance." - GMANews.TV
