Comelec to suspend canvassing midnight, May 16

The Commission on Elections will suspend the canvassing of votes at midnight, Thursday. "We're going to resume the canvassing 7 a.m. tomorrow," poll chief Sixto Brillantes Jr. said late Wednesday. The Comelec sitting as the National Board of Canvassers has canvassed 36 of 304 certificates of canvass.
