Valenzuela city solon dies in car accident

Valenzuela Rep. Antonio M. Serapio died Monday afternoon in a car accident on his way to the House of Representatives to attend a two-day special session. Serapio, 69, was a member of the Nacionalista Party, and represents the second district of Valenzuela City. Born on June 13, 1937, Serapio was one of the six opposition lawmakers who refused to sign the impeachment complaint against President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. He did not sign the complaint because he did not believe that Arroyo is a legitimate president who is illegible for impeachment. - GMANews.TV
