Tropical Depression Kiko exited the Philippine area of responsibility and continued to move away from the country early Tuesday morning, state weather forecasters said. PAGASA, in its 5 a.m. advisory, said Tropical Depression Kiko was estimated at 620 km northwest of Coron, Palawan as of 4 p.m. It packed maximum winds of 55 kph near the center and was moving northwest at 20 kph. By Tuesday afternoon it is expected to be 720 km west of Iba, Zambales. Despite Kiko's exit, PAGASA said in its 5 a.m. bulletin that Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. — DVM, GMA News
