(Updated 12:57 p.m.) A heavy, predawn downpour flooded parts of Metro Manila and Luzon Monday, prompting some local governments and schools to suspend classes.

- Caloocan: no classes from elementary to high school, public and private; all city-run universities
- Las Piñas: pre-school to high school, public & private
- Makati City: preschool to high school, in both public and private schools
- Malabon: all levels, public & private
- Mandaluyong: pre-school to high school, public & private
- Manila: all levels, public and private
- Marikina: all levels, public and private
- Muntinlupa: all levels, public and private
- Navotas: day care to high school, public and private
- Pasay: all levels, public and private
- Pasig: preschool to high school, public and private
- Pateros: pre-school to high school level classes, in both private and public schools
- San Juan: preschool to high school
