Walang Pasok: Predawn rain causes class cancellations in NCR, Luzon

(Updated 12:57 p.m.) A heavy, predawn downpour flooded parts of Metro Manila and Luzon Monday, prompting some local governments and schools to suspend classes.

For the NCR, classes are suspended in:
  • Caloocan: no classes from elementary to high school, public and private; all city-run universities
  • Las Piñas: pre-school to high school, public & private
  • Makati City: preschool to high school, in both public and private schools
  • Malabon: all levels, public & private
  • Mandaluyong: pre-school to high school, public & private
  • Manila:  all levels, public and private
  • Marikina: all levels, public and private
  • Muntinlupa: all levels, public and private
  • Navotas: day care to high school, public and private
  • Pasay:  all levels, public and private
  • Pasig: preschool to high school, public and private
  • Pateros: pre-school to high school level classes, in both private and public schools
  • San Juan: preschool to high school
  • Quezon City:  all levels, public and private
  • Taguig:  all levels, public and private
  • Parañaque:  all levels, public and private
  • Valenzuela: preschool to high school, public and private.

Outside NCR:
  • Bataan: all levels, public and private
  •  
  • Bacoor City: all levels, public and private
  • Bulacan (localized suspensions):
  •   All levels: Sta. Maria, Bocaue, Dinalupihan, Marilao, Pulilan, Obando, Paombong
  •   Preschool to High School: Bulakan, Balagtas
  •   Preschool to Elementary: Baliwag
  • Cavite: pre-school to high school
  • Laguna:  pre-school, elementary, high school and college
  •  
  • Rizal (localized suspensions):
  •   All levels: Rodriguez, Morong (public and private)
  •   Preschool to High School: San Mateo, Jalajala, Cainta (public and private)
  •   Preschool to Elementary: Taytay (public and private), as announced by Mayor Janet de Leon- Merca on dzBB
  • Dinalupihan, Bataan: all levels, public and private
  • Sta. Maria, Bulacan: all levels, public and private
  • Cainta, Rizal: preschool to high school, public and private
  • Taytay, Rizal: elementary, public and private, as announced by Mayor Janet de Leon-Mercado on dzBB.

  • Juan Sumulong College – Pre-school to high school
