A whistleblower in the alleged P10-billion pork barrel fund scam on Thursday revealed that she once delivered money to the house of a former employee of Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.
During a Senate probe on the alleged scam, Marina Sula, Napoles's former employee, said she was ordered by the controversial businesswoman to bring a bagful of money to the house of Ruby Tuason.
"Sinabihan ako ni Ms. Janet Napoles na maghatid ng pera sa bahay ni Ruby Tuason. Hindi ko po alam ang address. 'Yung driver lang (ang may alam)," Sula said during the inquiry.
Tuason is among those charged with plunder by the Department of Justice in relation to the alleged pork barrel scam. In the complaint, Tuason was identified as a "representative" of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile or Jinggoy Estrada.
Enrile and Estrada, as well as Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., are also currently facing plunder raps in relation to the supposed anomaly.
In an interview earlier this month, Mayor Estrada, father of Senator Estrada, confirmed that Tuason was once his social secretary, but denied having close ties with Napoles. —KG, GMA News
