Walang Pasok: No classes in some provinces, cities in path of Yolanda

(Updated 6:35 p.m.) Some provinces and cities in the path of Typhoon Haiyan, which entered the Philippine area of responsibility at midnight Thursday and was locally codenamed Yolanda, have suspended classes in all levels.
Automatic suspension of classes also took effect in several provinces with the raising of public storm warnings for their areas.
Below is a list of provinces and cities where classes for Thursday have been suspended, sourced from the Department of Education Twitter account, the
Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office, and the Philippine Information Agency.

Suspension of work in the private sector is only recommended in Cebu province, except in Mandaue City, where private sector work has been suspended for November 7.
