In 2008, housing developer Globe Asiatique entered into a funding agreement with the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) worth at least P6.65 billion for its Xevera subdivision projects in Pampanga.

Two years later, the housing agency said it had discovered several irregularities in the project. Syndicated estafa charges were subsequently filed against Globe Asiatique chairman Delfin Lee and several other people.

Last week, Lee was arrested in Manila for allegedly defrauding the government and victimizing hundreds of home buyers. He has denied the charges.

GMA News Research compiled the following timeline of the case from government and company sources, as well as news reports.
