2 of 3 robbers shot dead in QC encounter with cops

Two of three suspected robbers were shot dead following an encounter with police in Quezon City before dawn Saturday, moments after robbing a woman.

Police are tracking down the third suspect who escaped aboard a motorcycle, radio dzBB reported.

Saturday's predawn encounter occurred along New York Street, the report said. Police did not immediately identify the slain suspects.
