Typhoon Luis strands nearly 700, grounds more flights

Nearly 700 people have been stranded while more flights were grounded before noon Sunday due to bad weather conditions from Typhoon Luis (Kalmaegi).

The Philippine Coast Guard said 658 people were stranded in Bicol ports as of 10 a.m.

Of these, 506 were from Albay, 114 from Sorsogon, 18 from Catanduanes and 20 from Camarines Sur.
