NDRRMC: One dead, 154 hurt in Black Nazarene procession

At least one death and 154 medical incidents were recorded in Friday's Traslacion marking the Feast of the Black Nazarene, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Friday night.
 
In its 8 p.m. update, the NDRRMC said most of the medical incidents involved foot wounds, bruises and ankle sprains during the procession.
 
The NDRRMC also identified the fatality as Renato Gorion, 34, who was declared dead on arrival at the Manila Doctors Hospital due to a heart attack.
 
The NDRRMC also estimated the crowd size since the Pahalik at one million. —Joel Locsin/NB, GMA News
