Pope meets Philippine Jesuit priests

Pope Francis - the first Jesuit to become the Catholic Church's head - met with 40 Filipino Jesuits at the Apostolic Nunciature on Taft Avenue in Manila Friday evening .

The Pope normally meets his fellow Jesuits in the places that he visits, Vatican Press Office director Father Federico Lombardi said at a press conference at the Diamond Hotel.

Lombardi did not reveal what was discussed during the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Vatican Radio forwarded a tweet, originally from Father Antonio Spadaro SJ, of the meeting.
