Namfrel 'quick count' has not yet started

Despite earlier pronouncements by some of its volunteers that the quick count of election results would start by midnight, the National Movement for Free Elections has yet to start the process by two in the morning. Media coordinators said their volunteers have started tallying the poll results they have received but they would still have to undergo a “series of validations". As of 2:30 a.m., the Namfrel has yet to begin its quick count. The coordinators said one of the processes that’s delaying the quick count is the validation that the total number of votes indicated in the election results would tally with the total number of registered voters. One of the coordinators said Namfrel is aiming to come out with an “accurate" tally of election results. - GMANews.TV
