CSC opens service exams applications

Applications are now being accepted for the second Career Service Professional and SubProfessional written examinations scheduled October 18, said the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The application period will run from May 25 to September 3.

Anyone seeking a position in government should pass the career service examination.

The examinations are open to Filipino citizens including those holding dual citizenship, regardless of educational attainment. Applicants should be at least 18 years old at the time of filing the application, and have not taken the same level of examination within three months before the date of examination.

Applications should be filed in person at the CSC Regional Office (CSCRO), or at any of the concerned CSCRO’s Field Offices, where the applicant intends to take the examination.

The CSC advised applicants to file before September 3, as the CSCRO may close the application any time before the deadline once they reach the target number of applicants.

Examination fee for both levels of CSE-PPT is P500.
