Based on the records of the emergency room at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center, the children, some as young as 7 years old, vomited and experienced severe stomach pain.
Dr. Emmanuel Bueno, medical center chief II, said the patients suffered food poisoning after eating boiled eggs and hotdogs.
Dr. Alfred Garcia, resident doctor of Boystown said the food was donated by the Philadelphia Chirist-centered Fellowship.

"It was cooked at 4 a.m. and it was given 4 p.m. so sobrang haba ng time sa init ng panahon so bacterial formation is inevitable," said Dr. Garcia
In a statement, the Fellowship expressed sadness over the incident.
"We are looking at other reason that may have caused the food poisoning, aside from the heat that might have caused the spoilage during the transporting of the food yesterday," said the group. The group has been donating food to Boystown for five years.
The group added that they take full responsibility for problem. It added that the Fellowship immedialy sent a representative to Amang Rodriguez Medical Center to help in the hospitalization of the children.
"We thank God that all of the boys who were brought to the hospital didn’t incur serious ailment and were immediately discharged. We would also ensure that necessary assistance will be sent to help the children be restored back in full health," the group said.
