— DZBB Super Radyo (@dzbb) August 30, 2015The Iglesia Ni Cristo members started arriving at the DOJ as of 4:46 a.m. Monday, dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
The protest moved to EDSA on Friday, paralyzing large parts of Metro Manila's main thoroughfare, as church members rallied against what it called was government's meddling in its internal affairs.
The Mandaluyong city government issued a permit for the group to stay at EDSA-Shaw until midnight, but Mayor Benhur Abalos announced during the program that he was allowing protesters to stay until the morning.
The Manila city government, meanwhile, had earlier issued a permit to rally for protesters until Sept. 4.
Meanwhile, a separate protest was also held in front of Davao City's Hall of Justice early Monday morning. —Bea Montenegro/KG, GMA News
