Former ambassador and now OFW party-list Rep. Roy Señeres filed his certificate of candidacy for president on Friday morning at the Comelec head office in Intramuros, Manila.

He filed his COC along with his running mate, Bishop Ted Malangen of the Jesus Christ the Deliverer Church.

Señeres is running under the Partido ng Manggagawa at Magsasaka (PMM).

With a platform focused on employment, he said that one of his priorities would be addressing contractualization.

"Masyadong pang-aabuso ang ginagawa ng unscrupulous employers dito sa ating bansa," he said, adding that other officials who run for office turn a blind eye on this because business owners support their campaigns.

He said he has already prepared his first executive order as president to implement the laws to address this. — RSJ, GMA News
