Long lost 'friends' reunite in Norway to restart peace talks
Informal talks between the incoming Duterte administration and representatives of the Communist Party of the Philippines-National Democratic Front (CPP-NDF) has started in Oslo, Norway, according to a report by GMA News reporter Raffy Tima.
Among those sitting down in informal exploratory talks were: incoming presidential peace adviser Jesus Dureza and incoming Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III and CPP-NPA-NDF represented by the organization's founding chairman Jose Maria Sison and Luis Jalandoni.
There was no animosity between the two panels in their first informal meeting as they met like long lost friends.
