PNoy, sisters grace Cardinal Tagle's birthday celebration

Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle celebrated his 59th birthday on Tuesday, with no less than outgoing President Benigno Aquino III gracing the event at the Arzobispado de Manila in Intramuros, Manila.

Aquino, who will step down from office on June 30, arrived at 6:45 p.m. together with his sisters Aurora Corazon Aquino-Abellada, Maria Elena Aquino Cruz and Victoria Elisa Aquino Dee.

The Aquino sisters brought a gift and some food products.

According to a staff of the Archdiocese of Manila, the afternoon party, held at the 4th floor of the Arzobispado de Manila, was organized by Tagle's family and friends who were mostly from Cavite where he served as bishop.  

Also present in the party were Caloocan Bishop Pablo David, Cavite Bishop Rey Evangelista, and Msgr. Clemente Ignacio. —KBK, GMA News
