Duterte to attend Pacquiao’s inauguration in Sarangani
President-elect Rodrigo Duterte is set to attend the inauguration of Senator-elect Manny Pacquiao in Sarangani province on Wednesday.
In a series of tweets, GMA News reporter Cedric Castillo said that aside from Pacquiao, local officials from Sarangani and General Santos City are set to take their oath at the Sarangani Capitol Gym.
Pacquiao's brother Ruel won the lone seat of the Sarangani legislative district. His other brother, Bobby, was also elected councilor in General Santos City.

During his miting de avance on May 7 at Luneta in Manila, Duterte endorsed Pacquiao although he was not on his senatorial lineup. Pacquiao decided to run under the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) led by Vice President Jejomar Binay.
"Even if he is with VP Binay, I'd still like to pitch for him. Huwag ninyo siyang kalimutan," he said. — Trisha Macas/RSJ, GMA News
