Arrest of Ronnie Dayan, the driver and security aide of Sen. Leila de Lima

Ronnie Dayan, the former driver-bodyguard and lover of Senator Leila de Lima, had been on the run after being tagged in the illegal drug trade by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The House of Representatives had ordered Dayan arrested after skipping the justice committee's investigation on the alleged illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison that allegedly benefitted De Lima.

Dayan was accused of allegedly collecting drug money from NBP inmates for De Lima. 

Dayan, who had a P1-million reward on his head, was arrested in La Union in Northern Luzon, on Tuesday morning after four months in hiding. — VVP, GMA News
