Robredo on Sunday announced her intention to resign from her position as chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), citing the tweet as "the last straw" after the HUDCC budget was slashed and "key" recommendations were not acted on.
"This is the last straw, because it makes it impossible for me to perform my duties. Hence, I am tendering my resignation from the Cabinet on Monday, December 5, 2016," she said.
