Duterte to spend Valentine's Day with family in Davao

President Rodrigo Duterte will spend his Valentine's Day with his family in Davao City, Special Assistant to the President Secretary Christopher "Bong" Go said on Monday.

As of posting time, Malacañang said that Duterte has no schedule on Tuesday.

Duterte has been spending his weekends and holidays in Davao City where his two families reside. The former mayor lives with his common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña and their daughter Veronica or Kitty.

Despite being annulled with his former wife Elizabeth Zimmerman, Duterte remained good friends with her.

Zimmerman, who was diagnosed with cancer, put up her own campaign for Duterte called Byaheng Du30 with daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, where they travelled by land to different cities in Mindanao and Visayas despite her condition.

Zimmerman and Duterte have two sons, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and Sebastian Duterte.

Both families attended Duterte's inauguration in Malacañang on June 30, 2016. —ALG, GMA News
