DSWD exec tells EU to watch child porn, advises Robredo, Trillanes to bake cupcakes

Department of Social Welfare and Development Assistant Secretary Lorraine Badoy on Sunday hit back with sarcasm at the critics of President Rodrigo Duterte, even telling the European Union to watch online child porn instead.

"Tapos yung mga taga EU, mag online child porn muna kayo. Dyan naman kayo magaling eh. (Wow. Uproar.)," Badoy wrote on Facebook.

Badoy also advised Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV to do crochet or bake.

"In the meantime, learn a craft. Mag-gantsilyo club muna kayo, Trillanes, Leni, etc. Bake ng red velvet cupcakes," she wrote.

Badoy wrote the post after Duterte took the early lead in the TIME 100 poll, an annual list featuring the most influential people in the world. 

"So if I wanted to topple his government and if I wanted to destroy him and take his place, and IF I had half a teaspoon of IQ on me, I'd wait. Bide my time. Wait for when he trips and makes some HUGE error so that people turn against him and his approval ratings go on a downward dizzy spiral," she wrote.

The European Parliament has passed a joint resolution this month condemning the extrajudicial killings in the country and urging "impartial and meaningful investigations to bring perpetrators to justice. The resolution also called on the EU to urge the United Nations to launch an independent probe on the killings.

Malacañang responded by saying the European Parliament and other international bodies should acknowledge that the Philippines is a sovereign state dealing with its own domestic challenges.

Duterte also criticized the EU on Friday for supposedly suggesting "a health-based solution" to the country's problem with illegal drugs. The EU denied it made such a suggestion.

Robredo, meanwhile, has been accused by Duterte of being in a hurry to claim the presidency. 

The vice president clarified that her dissent against certain policies of Duterte does not mean she is after the presidency.

Trillanes, who belongs to the Magdalo Party-list has said his party will not back down against Duterte. His party-mate Rep. Gary Alejano filed the first impeachment case against Duterte.

A medical doctor, Badoy assumed her post at the DSWD on Feb. 13.

She was tasked to be the "focal person of the Office of the Secretary in implementing the medicine assistance to drug dependents undergoing rehabilitation," DSWD Sec. Judy Taguiwalo said in a press release sent to media on the day of Badoy's appointment. —KG, GMA News
