Duterte highlights peace efforts, war on corruption at Qatar forum  

President Rodrigo Duterte spoke at the Philippines-Qatar Business Forum at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha, Qatar, during which he highlighted the government's  peace efforts in Mindanao and with the communist insurgents; as well as the fight against corruption, crime, and illegal drugs.

Duterte also touched on the territorial disputes in the West Philippine Sea, and the government's efforts to maintain control of the Benham Rise or Philippine Ridge.

Among those present at the forum were Qatar Chamber of Commerce, Inc. Chairman Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani and Trade and Industry  Secretary Ramon Lopez. — DVM, GMA News
