Armin Luistro back as De La Salle Philippines president
Former Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro is back as De La Salle Philippines (DLSP) President.
Luistro's appointment was contained in a letter by Bro. Jose Pardo , AFSC and Bro. Paul Kok Chee Ho, FSC to the Lasallian community on Monday.
The education secretary of former President Benigno Aquino III will be completing Bro. Jose Mariz Jimenez FSC's unfinished term as DSLP president which is until March 2020.
Before his comeback to the National Mission Council of De La Salle Philippines (DLSP), he first served as the Visitor of the De La Salle Brothers Philippine District from 1997-2004 and in 2005 was elected first DLSP Network President.
Aside from his notable achievements in DLSP , Luistro was the major proponent of the K to 12 basic education program in the country.
Meanwhile, Jimenez will still serve the Lasallian community through the National Mission Council and will dedicate his time as Auxiliary Visitor for Strategic Planning and District Development of the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD).
