Alias Inggo—linked to Bulacan massacre—found dead, fingers chopped off
One of the persons of interest linked to the Bulacan massacre turned up dead on Tuesday a week after a security guard's family was killed in San Jose Del Monte City.
According to a 24 Oras report by Cesar Apolinario, Ronaldo Pacinos' body was found at Phase 7, North Ridge Subdivision in Barangay Santo Cristo.
Pacinos, alias Inggo, was one of the persons of interest being linked to the deaths of Auring Dizon, 53; her daughter Estrella, 35; and Estrella's children inside their house in North Ridge Royale Subdivision last week.
The bloodied remains were found by Estrella's husband Dexter Carlos, a watchman.
Pacinos body was found on Tuesday with a cardboard that read, "Rapist, Tulak - Wag Tularan."
He succumbed to five stab wounds in different parts of the body and had four of his fingers chopped off. A car's fan belt was also wrapped around his neck.
"Natagpuan siyang patay na so we could consider this death under investigation," said Police Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat, Bulacan provincial director.
Suspect Carmelino "Miling" Ibañes earlier said Pacinos was involved in the slays.
The 26-year-old construction worker had also admitted to the crime as well as being high on drugs when it was committed. He, however, tested negative for illegal drug use.
The two were initially invited by policemen for questioning.
Pacinos was released by the cops.
Since Wednesday, he was not seen by his family and other residents within the area.
Meanwhile, a certain Alvin Mabesa, another person of interest had gone missing.
"Ito pong Alvin, 'yun po 'yung vineverify ng SITG (Special Investigation Task Group) na crineate namin. We are still validating those information," Caramat said.
"Probably next week lalabas na 'yung resulta ng DNA and then we will find out ilan talaga 'yung mga suspek," he added.
Authorities said out of the seven persons of interest who were invited for questioning, Ibañes was the only one who is currently under police custody.
Two of them were already cleared while two others are still being investigated. —Anna Felicia Bajo/NB, GMA News
