Duterte appoints Isko Moreno as North Luzon Railways Corp board member

President Rodrigo Duterte has given actor, defeated senatorial candidate, and former Vice Manila Mayor Isko Moreno a post in his administration.

Duterte appointed Moreno to the board of directors of the North Luzon Railways Corporation on July 12.

Malacañang released Moreno's appointment letter on Wednesday, along with those of other new government officials.

Moreno indicated in his certificate of candidacy that he was running under the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino, a political party headed by former President and incumbent Manila Mayor President Joseph Estrada, for the May 2016 senatorial election. —ALG/KVD, GMA News
